Season’s Greetings

As we approach the end of 2025, I want to take a moment to look back at what has been a truly transformative year for Gorilla3D. It has been a year of growth, technical breakthroughs, and—most importantly—strengthening our connection with you, our users.

Together, we’ve reached several milestones that have solidified Gorilla3D’s position in the Delphi ecosystem.

2025 Event Highlights

This year was packed with opportunities to share our progress and connect with the community:

  • February 19: We were officially named an Embarcadero Technology Partner, a major step in our long-term commitment to the Delphi platform.
  • June 20: We explored the future of development during the Embarcadero AI Webinar.
  • October 27: It was a pleasure meeting many of you in person during my presentation at the EKON 29 Conference.
  • December 3: We closed the year’s events with an insightful session at Embarcadero CodeRage 2025.

Technical Evolution & Key Features

We have been working tirelessly to ensure Gorilla3D remains a powerful 3D framework for Delphi developers. Here are the key technical achievements of 2025:

  • Platform & IDE Support: Full support for 64-bit Delphi IDE 12.3, the upcoming IDE 13, and Linux X64 platform support.
  • The Mayo Toolchain: A massive expansion in file compatibility, now supporting: STEP, STP, IGES, IGS, BREP, RLE, OCC, DXF, WRL, WRZ, VRML, X, 3MF, 3DS, AMF, and OFF.
  • Visuals & Performance: Implementation of Screenspace Shadows and Screenspace Ambient Occlusion (SSAO), alongside significant work in closing performance bottlenecks.
  • Engine Enhancements: New Camera Navigation Profiles, Linux Input Controller support, and the continued integration of the JOLT physics engine.
  • Stability: Hundreds of bugfixes and minor improvements to ensure a smooth development experience.

Thank You

None of these milestones would have been possible without your feedback, your projects, and your trust in Gorilla3D. You are the reason we keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Delphi 3D development.

I wish you, your families, and your teams a Merry Christmas, a relaxing holiday season, and a successful start to 2026.

Happy coding!

Best regards,

Eric.
